Almost 9 months into being a new boutique owner I had to close due to COVID-19 but was able to re open on the 25th June which was the exact date I brought the business a year ago.
I decided to delay my 1 year birthday celebration until 5th September 2020 due to the many uncertainties currently. With the pressures of not being able to trade for a few months I also under went surgery for a lump in my thyroid which did turn out to be cancerous.
Luckily I have had the all clear and no further treatment is required. I decided to have a Macmillan Coffee Morning on the same day as my year anniversairy as I wanted to show my appreciation for the great work that Macmillan do.
Thank you for all those that popped into see me and the donations given. I managed to raise £110 for a great cause and enjoyed celebrating my 1st year.
